Who doesn’t like a piece of home made bread toast in the morning. I have made several types of breads and this one is a sure hit, as it requires very little time (under two hours) and makes for 3 breads you can freeze already sliced for morning toasts. The beauty of this recipe is requires very little attention and the bread comes out crispy on the outside and so moist in the inside. Perfect with… just about anything !!!

INGREDIENTS
3/4 Cup warm water
1 Tablespoon liquid honey
7 Gr. Active Dry yeast (2 1/2 Teaspoon)
2 Cups warm water
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Salt
750 Gr. All purpose flour (you can use 00 flour as well with great results)
PREPARATION
In a small bowl, add the dry yeast and honey. Add the 3/4 cup of warm water and mix well. Let is sit for about 10 minutes, until the top start to get foamy.
In a large bowl, pour the flour and salt and combine. Make a well and pour the yeast mixture. Start combining with a wooden spoon and incorporate the warm water a little bit at a time and pour in the olive oil. Mix until all combined. You may have some small flour lumps, but do not worry, they will disappear when the dough starts to incorporate all the water.
The consistency of the dough should be smooth and sticky. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and let is rest for about 20 minutes.
After that time, you will notice the yeast starting to take effect and small bubbles will appear alongside of the bowl.
Using a plastic scraper, or as I do, wet your hands and stretch the dough about 5-6 times, until all sides have been folded. Allow to rest for another 20 minutes, covered with a tea towel.
After the last 20 minutes rest, pour the dough on a floured table and divide it in 3 loaves of equal weight.
Fold over to form a loaf and place each one on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Cover with a tea towel and rest for another 20 minutes.
During the last resting time, turn on your oven to 190 Degrees Celsius. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
I use the convection setting which allows the air to circulate in the oven.
Insert the bread tray and spray water inside the oven about 5-6 times to create steam in the oven.
Bake until dark brown and oh my…..
Remember you should wait at least 20 minutes before cutting into these marvels !
