Here is a quick recipe that you can prepare at the last minute. If you have hazelnuts in your pantry, and like me, you keep enough supplies all the time, you can make this amazing and elegant dessert in no time.
Simply put all the ingredients in a blender or robot and mix.
It’s that simple.
I use a hand whisk to prepare the Chantilly cream, to which I add a teaspoon of coffee essence or a very strong espresso.
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup ground Hazelnut
2 tablespoons of All purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix well – Grease two cake pans with butter and sprinkle flour and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° Celsius for 20 minutes.
The cakes will drop slightly and are rather thin. Do not worry… the chantilly cream filing makes up for it !
Split each cake in two and put a good dollop of whipped cream. Spring the top with cocoa or chocolate shavings.
INGREDIENTS – Chantilly Cream
1 cup of whipping cream – 30% to 35%
1/4 cup of cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon of strong instant espresso or coffee essence
Mix well using a hand blender with a whisk. –
Once the cakes are cooled, simply spread the coffee cream between the layers and on top of the cake – sprinkle with cocoa or chocolate shavings.
