Creamy Tuna Pasta

This is a simple recipe, but so tasty. Whenever we come back from a trip and have nothing in the fridge, we pull out a can of tuna or salmon and a packet of pasta and dinner is ready in 15 minutes.
Start with an onion and garlic chopped finely in the oil from the Tuna can
Then add a few teaspoons of flour and dilute with milk. Add your tuna and voila your sauce is done.

INGREDIENTS
1 Small onion finely chopped
1 Clove of Garlic finely chopped
1 Small can of Tuna in olive oil
A pinch of Chilli flakes
2 Teaspoons of All purpose flour
1 1/2 Cup of Milk
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Pasta of choice – Take a pasta which can absorb and hold some of the sauce, like a penne, rigatoni, fusilli, spirals, farfalle, etc…

METHOD
Start cooking your pasta and in the meantime, in a heavy saucepan, saute the onion and garlic together with the oil from the tuna can, until translucent.
Add the flour and mix well, cook the flour for a minute or so. Add the milk, which you should warm in the microwave. Add to the onions and mix well, continue to mix until the milk thickens and start to become like a cream sauce. It should still be liquid, yet creamy. Cook for a few minutes.
Pour the pasta in your sauce and mix well – Sprinkle with Salt & ground fresh pepper and parmesan cheese if you have.

If you want to bring this recipe to another level, cut the milk in half and add 1 glass of white wine.
