A bold fusion of ginger, garlic, and maple syrup transform a humble meat cut into an unforgettable dish. Inspired by Chinese cuisine, this chicken dish can be prepared in ten minutes and can be presented as an elegant main course served with Jasmine rice and steamed vegetables. Keep the recipe handy, it is one you will use often.

INGREDIENTS
Serve 4
6 Chicken Thighs with bone in
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
3-4 Cloves Garlic finely minced
1 Tablespoon Ginger
1/4 Teaspoon Pepperoncino (Hot chilli peppers)
PREPARATION
In a large bow, whisk together the oils, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper. Add in the chicken and toss to coat all.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat your oven to 200 Celsius. Transfer your chicken to 9×13″ baking dish and pour over the marinade.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reads 74°C or 165°F.
I baste the chicken pieces halfway through so they keep moist.
You can cook the chicken pieces in advance and simply reheat the dish before serving.

Thanks, Rene! Another winner. You are such a brilliant cook, and I am so grateful for your generosity in sharing recipes. I particularly appreciate the easier ones since my abilities are limited! Patty
