Huli Huli Baby Ribs from Donna Bowser

This is an easy recipe, which can be used for many types of meats. You can use it for grilled pork chops, chicken breast or chicken thighs.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of Ketchup
1 Garlic clove finely chopped
1 2cm Grated or finely chopped ginger
2 Scallions finely minced
1.5 Kg. baby pork ribs

METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Preheat your oven at 180 Celsius – Using a baking sheet covered with parchment paper (do not use aluminum foil, as the sauce thickens and sticks to the paper – save yourself the aggravation)
Place the ribs on the pan and brush them with 1/2 of the sauce.
Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for about 2.5 hours.
Remove the foil, brush some of the sauce on the ribs and grill at 235 Celsius for 10-12 minutes. The ribs should be brown and crispy looking.
Brush with the remaining sauce and garnish with chopped scallions.
Serve with rice or steam vegetables.
