1 Store bought Pie dough…
2 Large Red Apples – Cut in halves, core and stem removed.
1 Tablespoon Sugar
60 Gr. Cream Cheese
150 Gr. Brown Sugar
10 Gr. Cinnamon
Starting with the apples, wash them and cut them in halves. Remove the core and stem and cut them in thing slices in a bowl.
Sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar and mix well. Put in the microwave and cook them for 2 minutes. Let them cool at room temperature.
Preheat the oven at 190 Celsius with the fan on
In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese to loosen it up. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
Take your pie crust dough and cut it in 6 equal slices.
Starting with the first one, spread two tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture on the entire surface of the dough strip. Place slices of apples along the entire dough strip about halfway.
Fold the bottom part of the dough into itself and then roll into a rose-like shape.
Place the rose in your baking dish and repeat until you have used all the dough strips.
Bake in a pre-heated oven for about 35 minutes, until golden brown.
Let the pie cool at room temperature. Give it a good dusting of icing sugar and serve.
